"Dot and Dash" Children's Art Workshop

Date/time: Saturday, February 9, 1–3pm Location: Del Ray Artisans gallery (2704 Mount Vernon Avenue, Alexandria VA 22301) Fee: $10/child for DRA members, $12/child for non-members. Register by February 3. Registration will be filled by first-come/first-served. 30-student maximum. "Dot and Dash" Children's Art Workshop is a hands-on workshop for children (ages 5-12) to express themselves. They will focus on the attributes of lines and shapes in two-dimensions and three-dimensions, and create two pieces of art. Participants will have the opportunity to have their work included in the "Dot and Dash" show. There will be a separate Children's Art reception on Friday, February 22 from 7–9 pm. |
