Got tissue paper leftover from the holidays, birthday celebrations, and shopping sprees? Learn how to tear it, roll it, twist it, feather it, paint it, and otherwise manipulate it to create texture in mixed media pieces ranging from canvases to dioramas and small sculptures.

Meet the Instructor: Christine Stoddard - Christine Stoddard is a writer and visual storyteller and Puffin Foundation emerging artist. Her creations have appeared in the New York Transit Museum, The Brooklyn Quarterly, The Feminist Wire, The Southeast Review, the Poe Museum, and elsewhere. She also is the founding editor of Quail Bell, an online and occasional print magazine for real and unreal stories from across the world. Quail Bell has been featured in Time Out New York, Volume 1 Brooklyn, and Washington Post Express.
