Grown-Ups Art Camp Workshop: "Intro to Wire Jewelry Techniques"

Workshop Fee: $40 members / $50 non-members

Class size: 3-8 participants

This workshop is for individuals who are interested in learning basic techniques of wire jewelry. You will get to experiment with different tools and wire sizes, while creating basic and useful jewelry components. Bring your patience and be ready to work in small detail. No prior experience necessary - if you have never picked up a jewelry tool before, this workshop is for you!

Meet the Instructor: Tamara Wilkerson - Tamara has been making wire jewelry and selling her unique creations for over 10 years. Specializing in wire jewelry & found object assemblage, her work can range from delicate & whimsical to industrial & more structured. Tamara's work has been shown at various outdoor festivals and gallery exhibits in the DMV area. Images of her work can be found at www.wirealm.com.
